The Defense Group at Leidos has an Aviation Maintenance Project Coordinator opening at the FAR 145-Repair Station. This job site is located at the Harry J. Parrish field located in Manassas Virginia.
What’s in it for you?
The job of the Aviation Maintenance Project Coordinator is to plan, schedule, and track aircraft maintenance activities. The Project Coordinator will work closely with other team members and project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources and timeframes for projects. Responsibilities include attending meetings and developing project strategies. Perform various reporting duties such as scheduling, tracking and risk management. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Develop Project Plan and Level of repair/modification Analysis for FAR-145 repair station shop visits.
Maintain schedule of events and milestones
Identify Technical staffing levels needed to complete project within time constraints.
Coordinate with the Material Planner to ensure required tooling/equipment, parts and materials are identified and available when needed.
Review engineering data during the release process, record and track make buy decisions.
Maintain reports to identify current project status, risk register and open issue status.
Track aircraft scheduled maintenance, repair and inspections on aircraft systems.
Participate in daily staff meetings as required.
Maintain file systems needed to support duties and responsibilities.
Perform other assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
Experience in using Microsoft Office Products.
Airframe & Powerplant Certifications with 5 plus years turbine and or jet experience.
Security Clearance Requirement
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with King Air, Challenger 650 or Global 6500 is a plus.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
