Leidos is seeking an energetic, motivated, self-starter for this technically sophisticated and challenging Technical Program Manager position, leading a team in the development of a variety of naval training and simulation systems such as CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer - YouTube .
You will manage the integration of ASW training programs for the surveillance communities of the US Navy. You will be the integration manager and will work in conjunction with another Program Manager overseeing the testing and delivery of acoustic training systems for the Advanced Surveillance Build (ASB) program for surveillance sonar system in shore-based trainers. You will participate in systems engineering activities for acoustic trainers, be responsible for schedule and execution of integration activities, and identify and communicate program risks to senior management. Travel may be required to partner organizations or trainer sites and will account for 15% to 20% of the job.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics.
Required Experience
You must have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance. Employment is contingent on receiving an interim Secret security clearance.
You must have 5+ years of relevant work experience managing projects related to the design, development, test, and evaluation of complex Navy systems
You will be exposed to many different attributes of professional systems development and thus will need an ability to learn and apply new skills, and also share your own expertise with the team to improve our development capabilities
Desired Experience
5 years of Project Management experience leading a technical team and coordinating resources and scheduling the design, development, systems integration, test, and evaluation of complex systems related to Navy training systems.
Experience in US Navy Undersea Warfare
Experience with Agile development and Atlassian products.
Comfortable working directly with software developers and conducting software testing
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
