The Accessions Information Environment (AIE) is a program of record established to confront the challenges facing the Accessions Enterprise.  AIE will implement new business practices and modern technology using the Salesforce Platform.  It will be a fully integrated enterprise level capability enabling transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of the accessions workforce to acquire best-qualified talent to meet all Army manning requirements.  The AIE Test Team uses numerous testing methodologies in our Agile development process to ensure the solution can successfully operate in multiple environments and across different platforms.

We are looking for a qualified Management Analyst, to join our team who has implemented a testing strategy before to come in and lead an end- to- end testing effort across the Accessions Enterprise. You will be responsible for leading the AIE Test Team by actively participating in all phases of the project lifecycle to include application deployment to the filed. You will work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities for points of failure/defects. A problem-solving attitude with an ability to motivate your team to achieve specific goals are essential skills to perform well in this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Automation Testing subject matter expert, advising the team/department on best practices, and the adoption of new tools and platforms

  • Responsible for the implementation and overall execution oversight of the testing strategy inclusive of test data management, test environment management and automated testing tools.

  • Create and maintain code coverage for all stages of the Software Development process

  • Design and execute both automated and manual test plans/cases

  • Build new manual and automated Test Frameworks and enhance existing frameworks and test scripts

  • Develop and run or coordinate through the Service Provider automated tests to ensure software releases are free of bugs and meet expected quality standards for deployment to production

  • Use tools and languages like Selenium, Protractor, Appium, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python to design, create, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts

  • Work as part of an Agile team, collaborating with all members of the Scrum team including Software Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Master, and other QA testers

  • Create test cases and plans based on User Stories that meet business requirements and ensure that acceptance criteria are accurate and testable for each release/sprint

  • Identify and track bugs/errors and communicate findings with members of the Scrum team

Required Skills and Abilities include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field or equivalent years of experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing using tools and technologies like:

  • Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar

  • C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python

  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and QA process and experience designing/building test frameworks from scratch, creating test plans/cases, and performing manual testing as needed

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably using Scrum

  • Experience with system, integration, regression, performance, & user acceptance testing

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, acting as a subject matter expert

  • Publish suitable metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing and overall health of the product.

  • Act as the custodian of all test phase entry and exit criteria and their enforcement.

  • Due to security clearance requirements, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

  • Master's degree would be a plus/highly valued.

  • 4-6 years of testing experience.

  • Salesforce and MuleSoft knowledge is an asset.

  • Project management knowledge.

  • Experience in Test Lead/E2E TM role preferably with Client Projects.

  • Excellent communication, attitude and Leadership skills

  • Analytical & problem-solving skills ·

  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and able to adopt within team dynamics ·

  • Contribute as both Tester and Test Lead role ·

  • Drive projects independently as an individual contributor

  • Excellent skills in client & stakeholder communications and relationships

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,050.00 - $97,000.00 - $130,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
