Job Description:
The Civilian Health Solutions Operation of Leidos is seeking an Administrative Support Associate at Fort Detrick, MD.
The Administrative Support Associate will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for government, military, and contractor personnel and management to facilitate the efficient operation of an Army Information Technology (IT) office. The Administrative Support Associate is a central point of contact (POC) for the office and the government Project Manager during normal business hours.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports the project staff by scheduling/coordinating meetings, conference rooms, training facilities, conference calls, video teleconferencing (VTC) capabilities, special events, etc.
Orders office supplies and maintains appropriate supply stock.
Facilitates in- and out-processing of all personnel.
Primary POC for official Army and headquarters taskers.
Maintains Army mandatory training information and certifications, and tracks compliance for both contractors and civilians.
Coordinates CONUS/OCONUS travel, training, and expense reimbursements for civilian, military, and contractor personnel.
Maintains and/or works closely with appropriate individuals for property book inventory and conducts semi-annual property book audit and submits appropriate reports.
Assigned by the government Hand Receipt Holder as the Delegated Authority for Accountable Property (over 200 items).
Prepares and submits office equipment purchase requests for approval.
Acts as the Assistant Information Assurance Support Officer (AIASO) for office supporting the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Responsible for requesting new computer accounts, deleting old accounts, and modifying current accounts for PMO personnel.
Creates Army Training and Certification Tracking System accounts and tracks training and certification compliance for general and privileged access users assigned to the eIT PMO.
Secondary Responsibilities
Documents meeting minutes and action items at project meetings.
May participate in various working groups and integrated project teams as the Administrative POC.
Coordinates website updates.
Assists the Army Headquarters as needed on writing projects and all job-related progress reports/technical reports.
Attends safety training and reports any infractions of safety procedures to the facility Safety Officer.
Maintains a safe workplace, ensures awareness of, and observes safety and occupational health rules and regulations.
Performs light duties and other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications / Skills
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of prior relevant experience.
At least 1 year of DoD or Army administrative experience.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required due to Federal contract. Must be able to obtain a National Agency Clearance and Inquiries (NACI) clearance.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, and web-based systems, especially document management systems like SharePoint, etc.
Must be proficient in documentation formatting and quality assurance editing.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must take initiative, work independently, and perform tasks with minimal direction and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Secondary education in a relevant field is desirable.
At least 1 year of DoD or Army experience; preferably with the United States Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC).
Familiarity with Army Regulations and correspondence.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $31,200.00 - $48,000.00 - $64,800.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
