Leidos is seeking an Access Control Specialist to lead administrative efforts for the Overlord/Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (M/OUSV) program at Port Hueneme, Ventura County, CA. This is a Remote position with potential for up to 10% travel to the location.
We are expecting award in March 2023.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating base and vessel access, CAC processing, form 5512 processing, travel coordination for USV crew, administration of crew qualifications and certifications, and coordinating submission of security clearance applications.
Will report to the Operations Lead but will also support the M/OUSV program manager and deputy.
Required to coordinate with government employees, both civilian and uniformed, as well as contractor functional leads and vessel operations personnel.
Submit visit requests for base and vessel access.
Processing Common Access Cards (CAC) for all program employees.
Track and report program administrative requirements, Training, Certifications, and Qualifications.
Coordinate travel for Leidos vessel operations personnel.
Process Expense Reports and Timecard submission as required for vessel operations personnel.
Assist Facility Security Officer (FSO) with processing applications for security clearance applications.
Onboard new hires.
Build and maintain employee and customer contact lists.
Preparing for Program Reviews.
Processing visit requests.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of progressive work experience in a Navy life cycle sustainment program or a similarly complex operational environment; Master’s degree and 2+ years’ experience. Four additional years of related experience will be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Three years of experience processing visit requests and re-initiation of security clearances in DOD approved security systems (Joint Personnel Adjudications System (JPAS) / Defense Information Security System (DISS)).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational skills.
US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Familiar with Leidos finance and expense reporting applications and processes such as Concur, Workday, and Deltek.
Experience using SharePoint and MS Project.
Willing to travel up to 10%.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $91,000.00 - $122,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
