Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Systems & Network Administrator to support our customer at Wright-Patterson AFB, in Dayton, Ohio. Qualified candidates should have knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to assessing, securing, and monitoring IT systems. Candidates will have the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process related to their area of expertise.
Primary Responsibilities
- All basic IT duties in support of a high-tech engineering and research facility (login issues, repair of IT equipment, etc.)
- Installation, configuration, administration, and support of a self-contained IT infrastructure environment, to include internal networks, back-up procedures, domain and domain logins, server management, etc
- Management of software licenses and system users (e.g. MATLAB, programming environments, etc.)
- Management of systems infrastructures, implementing best practices to identify and recommend system functional specifications, configuration of physical and virtual systems, and back-up and recovery of IT infrastructure
- Updating and supporting systems by tuning performance and allocating storage space
- Implementing critical patches as needed
- Reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues
- Management of projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas
- Employing ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve mission objectives.
- Communication with internal team members across multiple areas, customer team members, and external personnel (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.).
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant technical field and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an MS degree with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in Linux and Windows administration
- Advanced-level experience with Windows administration is (Minimum of 5 years or more)
- Mid-level to advanced experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) is required
- Qualified candidates must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance (no clearance needed to start)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD SECRET clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Experience with network design and implementation
- Mid-level to advanced experience with Linux administration
- Microsoft IT certifications
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53A and NIST 800-171 security controls
- Understanding of and experience with Cybersecurity Information System Security Officer (ISSO) duties.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
