Leidos has a Linux Systems Administrator position that will support the development, testing, and deployment of authentication and identity management capabilities enabling access to DoD supercomputers and infrastructure across multiple locations. Strong integration with the program’s security team is essential for rapid responsiveness to program security needs. You will have to work with a team of engineers to review and define configurations, create automation scripts to deploy and configure network assets, review, test, and deploy software applications to include hardening and configuration management.
Flexibility in approach to finding solutions is essential, as well as the ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities and learn new technologies quickly. Occasional off-hours activity will be required to perform updates and take part in service restoration efforts.
Responsibilities include:
- System deployment and configuration for RHEL 7/8 and SuSE Linux
- System security management using RMF and associated DoD security practices
- System patching and updating, to include RMF requirements and DoD STIGs
- Deployment and testing of authentication and identity management software
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience
- Ansible
- Linux Administration (RHEL 7/8)
- Bash scripting and process automation
- PKI Authentication and SSL Certification Management
- DoD STIG Compliance
Certification & Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret Security Clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II (or better) Certification (i.e. Security+)
- OS Software Certification (i.e. Linux+)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- DevSecOps team experience
- LAMP web services software stack
- VMware Server AdministrationLin
- Networking Experience
- Radix/eMass (or similar scanning tools)
- GitLab Administration
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
