The Civilian Health Solutions Group has an opening for a Human Centered Design Lead to support a large healthcare program.
Job Description
Lead product and service design efforts across a portfolio of products and services for the for a large CMS portfolio
Guide research (both qualitative and quantitative) with the sole objective of helping program teams understand their stakeholders, define value, develop prototypes, support usability and execution
Lead program teams through the user research phase to develop insights that create innovation, inform design, and guarantee value-driven delivery for a large Infrastructure Services Project
Lead efforts in the development of actionalble outcomes defining product backlog and user stories
Oversee the creation of design artifacts including but not limited to personas, journey maps, wireframes, sitemaps, mockups, flowcharts, storyboards, and user stories.
Collaborate and lead efforts across teams, working with product and project managers, to support analysts, engineers, and product specialists integrate user experience findings
Develop standards and best practices for program teams to help foster user experience design and agile incremental delivery
Develop awareness and understanding of our clients’ operational landscapes, use that knowledge to drive recommendations on improving service delivery
BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Relevant Experience
Portfolio demonstrating experience and knowledge in User Experience design and more specifically Human Centered Design in service center and cloud infrastructure management
3+ years of relevant professional experience in projects with emphasis on big data, reporting and analytics
Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, product development, and customer experience
Experience in agile software development
Federal government experience preferred
All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
