Role overview
Leidos Europe Ltd is seeking a UK based Risk and Resilience Advisor who is a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. They will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme.
Reporting to the Programme Risk and Resilience Manager, you will be acting as support for programme Risk, Issues, Opportunities (RIO), Business Continuity and Incident Management.

The Compliance function acts as an enabler for the LCST programme’s wide range of activities, and the safe and secure environment in which we operate. We work closely with all areas of the organisation to help prepare, protect and prevent adverse impacts to our people and assets.
The role will be hybrid, with expectations to be in office to support key meetings and some UK travel will be required.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Support the maintenance and development of the Business Continuity, Incident Management and Risk programmes of work
Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to help facilitate the ongoing review and completion of Risk, Business Continuity and Incident Management documentation
Act as a point of contact for advice and guidance on Risk and Resilience for the organisation
Support the response to incidents impacting the LCST programme
Co-ordination of risk reports and materials
Co-ordination and administration of the Risk Management Tool to ensure risks are regularly reviewed
Support the development and delivery of role specific training to all levels of the organisation
Maintenance of the Risk and Resilience internal SharePoint resources
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A friendly, flexible and positive approach, demonstrating an energy and passion for risk and resilience
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within an organisation
Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines, prioritising in a demanding environment
Strong ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (e.g. report writing, PowerPoint presentations)
Experience in using Microsoft Office
Previous administration experience, ideally in a senior level environment
UK citizenship
Ability to achieve SC clearance
Willing to undertake UK travel
Desirable Skills
Relevant Business Continuity and / or Risk qualification, or a desire to gain one
Membership of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and / or Institute of Risk Management (IRM)
An understanding of Business Continuity, Risk and Resilience
Understanding of ISO31000, ISO22301 and BCI Good Practice Guidelines
Experience working with MOD contracts, policies and procedures including Defence Standards and Joint Service Publications.
Experience working with the following tools: Power BI, SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira
Active SC security clearance

The Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UK’s defence supply chain. The programme provides essential services such as storage and distribution for the MOD's materiel, including a global freight service and the procurement and inventory management of 70,000 commodity NATO Stock Number (NSNs).
