The Civilian Health Solutions Operation is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to support a large healthcare contract.
We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to help support CMS’s Enterprise Portal Services (EPS) program who will understand thoroughly business space and its underlying data, inputs and outputs. The successful Business Analyst should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, deep understanding of business processes and operations.
Responsibilities:
Work with the scrum team to maximize the team's velocity
Work with the customer and team to refine the priorities within the Product Backlog
Capture meeting minutes and key decisions for distribution to the team and subsequent review with the customer
Interface continually with the customer, project SMEs, and key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements in support of their vision
Along with the Scrum Master organize requirements into epics and stories, generate Acceptance Criteria, and convey this information during Sprint Planning meetings, which you will lead
Organize requirements into epics and stories, generate Acceptance Criteria.
Trace customer requirements from inception through delivery
Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Gather and analyze data to understand business problems and opportunities
Identify and evaluate the potential risks and impacts of proposed solutions
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions
Collaborate with development team to triage and remediate production support issues
Required Skills:
Familiarity with an Agile Methodology (like Scrum) and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience managing or leading a team.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and customers in order to translate their needs into technical requirements.
Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and documentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to follow-up in a timely manner
Experience creating detailed reports and presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements
Desired Skills:
Experience working in federal projects
A Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or other agile-related certification
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or higher). Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8-10 years of experience
All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
