Job Description:
The Leidos Public Health Portfolio is seeking a DevSecOps Lead in Atlanta, GA to support a public health program that will assist the customer in modernizing their data management infrastructure, processes, and personnel skills.

The ideal candidate must be a strong leader with expert understanding of leading DevSecOps teams and implementing CI/CD pipelines, energetic and self-motivated, able to guide and mentor technical professionals, and with a value-driven and customer-centric mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and expertise to infrastructure teams, build, and define cross-Research and Development (R&D) policies and processes, lead security-centric projects, and continuously advance CDC's security posture.
- Deliver value by creating predictable delivery and change management of data, data models and related artifacts.
- Identity and implement automation that will improve the performance and reliability of the pipelines including scripting, integration, problem resolution, and configuration management.
- Promote cloud adoption through the use of resilient, secure, scalable DevSecOps platforms.
- Ensure that all required checks and scans are occurring in the pipeline as scheduled/required (e.g., security scans, commit checks, deploy time checks, code coverage).
- Create and manage documents and diagrams required to support and document the DevSecOps environment.
- Implement alerting and monitoring for CI/CD pipeline environment and components to immediately alert stakeholders of issues and risks with the pipeline. Produce metrics and dashboards to provide qualitative and quantitative measures of quality, security, accessibility, and progress.
- Guide developing DevSecOps projects, project plans and roadmaps, and driving them to conclusion.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of experience or Master’s degree with 10 years of experience, of which 7+ years of recent experience with leading DevSecOps teams and CI/CD pipelines, additional years of experience will be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with Agile software development teams and implementing continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) practices
- Experience with Azure DevSecOps components such as Azure Resource Manager, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, GitLab and integrating security tools into the development and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with automating deployments in hybrid cloud environment
- Knowledge of enterprise standards tools to perform continuous monitoring and improvement of the application and IT infrastructure for application health and security issues.
- Experience provisioning and managing resources within hybrid Cloud infrastructures using templates, run books and playbooks.
- Experience with container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with automated provisioning and configuration tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar technologies
- Implements the processes and tools to deliver an automated, CI/CD pipeline based DevSecOps system that is capable of supporting VMs, containers, compiled software applications and scripts and source code in a pre-compiled state.
- Works across the development, security, operations, and Infrastructure (HW and SW) teams to ensure that the DevSecOps tools and processes are supporting the holistic system development, integration and fielding effort
- Strong critical thinking with good judgment and constructive creative concept development.
- Demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and implement successful preventive measures, as evidenced by minimal issues associated with assigned systems and implementations.
- Facilitates and reviews the definition and implementation of standards, methodologies and best practices that guide the design of technology solutions such as architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert and/or Solutions Architect
- AWS Solutions Architect
- Scrum or SAFe Certification
- Experience with CDC/Public Health
- Atlanta metropolitan area located
Security Clearance requirement:
Ability to acquire NACI/Public Trust clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
