The Leidos Vulnerability Management Program has an immediate opening for a motivated Cyber Security Integrations Developer with expertise in API integrations and advanced Splunk dashboard creation. The successful candidate will also have experience working with Microsoft SQL server and will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations between various security technologies and creating advanced dashboards for security monitoring and metrics purposes. Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement API integrations between various security technologies that feed into Splunk and Microsoft SQL Server
- Using Splunk’s SPL (Search Processing Language) to create Reports, Alerts & Custom, and Advanced Dashboards
- Analyze and troubleshoot security-related issues, and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of security technologies and solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cyber security
- Create and maintain documentation for Splunk and custom solutions
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Splunk and custom solutions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field
- Experience with Splunk search processing language (SPL) and developing custom Splunk applications /dashboards
- Experience with API integrations, preferably in a security context
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases
- Familiarity with relational database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Proven experience in vulnerability management strategies, standards, procedures, and technologies across infrastructure- and application-level vulnerabilities
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to write complex queries and analyze data from relational databases
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of operating systems, systems software, and application installation and administration, and Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
- Experience with the vulnerability management lifecycle
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage individual workload with minimal assistance
- Experience working with automated and open-source vulnerability scanners such as Nessus, InsightVM, OpenVAS, Qualys, Nexpose, Invicti, Acunetix, Netsparker, Burp, WebInspect, AppScan, Zap, etc.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills allowing them to communicate effectively (written and oral) across all levels of the organization and can determine the appropriate forum for each method, including working directly with Product Managers, Security Engineers, and Senior Leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of application development, network engineering, operating systems, and cloud environments
- Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create advance visualizations in Splunk
- Experience working with PowerShell
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, SPROC’s, and view to retrieve and manipulate data
- Splunk certification, such as Splunk Certified Developer or Splunk Certified Architect
- 2+ years of Splunk Application and Administration experience
- 2+ years of operational IT Security experience required
- 2+ years of experience analyzing data and solving problems
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment with diverse teams
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools
- Security certifications, such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
