The Leidos Civil NISC IV CARES team has an opening for versatile Process Improvement Manager that will manage the auxiliary teams surrounding a software solutions group. The position will lead the business process analyst and change management specialist to ensure that these aspects of the project are aligned with the software development of the project. In addition to the project management responsibilities the PIM will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience providing process improvement management with Software Development and IT Service Management Projects
- Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt
- Experienced with peer reviews and process auditing
- Experience collecting and analyzing metrics
- Ability to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project)
- Ability to support limited domestic travel
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Requires BS and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 to 10 years of prior relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with Agile principles
- Understanding of ITIL principles (ITIL Foundation training or equivalent)
- Apollo Root Cause Analysis (ARCA) training or equivalent.
- Formal auditor training
- Experience in Software development environment
- Understanding of Configuration Management principles
Pay Range:
Pay Range $75,400.00 - $116,000.00 - $156,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
