The Leidos Cyber Accelerator has a new opportunity for a technical Cyber Solutions Architect to join our team.
The selected candidate will support research and development, captures and proposals, marketing, and program execution related to our Cyber efforts within all of the markets we serve. This position involves leading technical and non-technical teams across the company in the development of solutions –exploring new technologies, creating prototypes, solving customer challenges – in alignment with Leidos strategy.

Leidos differentiation of scale, security and speed feature prominently in positioning of our major capabilities. The successful candidate will work hand-in-hand with business development, capture management, line management, research and development, senior leadership, vendors and external technology partners, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions and estimates to be delivered in proposals, on programs, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.
Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work with Leidos Research and Development, Business Development, and Program execution teams to:
•Develop, apply, and integrate technical concepts and solutions to full-spectrum cyber challenges
•Lead or support efforts to implement prototypes, white papers, and proposal responses in the Cyber Operations and other Cybersecurity areas
•Meet with Leidos customers to identify their technical and operational needs, avenues for acquisition, and delivery of Leidos developed solutions
•Engage with Leidos program teams to incubate, build, and refine cyber capabilities, offerings, and solutions
•Coordinate across Leidos to deliver comprehensive solutions and responses to customer and business needs, curate proof points and past performance qualifications, develop estimates, serve on capture and proposal review teams, and build playbooks to support future activities as part of our Solution Architect Community
•Represent Leidos at internal and external engagements including conferences, industry days, symposiums, academic partnerships, industry partnerships, and other venues
•Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to perform direct client work in their area of expertise, surging as needed on Leidos run programs to solve critical challenges, start new work, and address customer needs and gaps
Basic Qualifications
•Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 15+ years of prior relevant experience.
•Significant hands-on technical experience in the area of cybersecurity, cyber operations, or intelligence analysis (such as may be obtained via the military or government) may be considered in lieu of degree.
•Advanced understanding of cybersecurity threats, defense strategies, technologies, and policy
•Experience in capturing technical requirements and defining technical solutions in the form of conceptual, logical, and physical designs, including the ability to articulate those concepts verbally, graphically and in writing in support of research and development and/or capture and proposal activities.
•Ability to synthesize solution design information, architectural principles, available technologies, third-party products, and industry standards to formulate a system architecture that meets client requirements and can be delivered within the desired timeframe.
•Experience integrating industry technology partner products and services into holistic technical solutions, and experience managing vendor, partner, subcontractor, and prime relationships.
•Experience developing technical delivery plans, technical solutions, cost models, and basis of estimates (BOEs), including bill of materials (BOM) development.
•Experience identifying potential design, performance, security, and support problems, including ability to identify technical risks/challenges and develop relevant mitigation strategies.
•Extensive knowledge of the broad spectrum of technology areas, including technology trends, forthcoming industry standards, new products, and the latest solution development techniques; ability to leverage this knowledge to formulate technical solution strategy.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
