Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a qualified and dynamic Energy Efficiency New Construction Project Manager who will provide support as a part of our successful Energy Efficiency program team in MA, CT, RI, IL and NY. This position offers a unique career opportunity with the successful energy efficiency programs that promotes energy efficiency projects for National Grid’s and Rhode Island Energy's programs.
The ideal candidate in this position will broadly market Energy Efficiency new construction services to large commercial and industrial customers and will require the ability to identify efficiency opportunities, estimate energy savings, maintain customer relationships, deliver presentations and project manage projects that qualify for utility new construction incentives. The candidate should have basic general knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and/or the energy efficiency industry. Must be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team setting.

Job Responsibilities:
Identify efficiency opportunities that may qualify for new construction incentives while having the initiative and interest in keeping up-to-date on energy efficiency technologies.
Communicate technical issues across the project team.
Work closely with architects and engineers to incorporate energy efficiency measures into designs that qualify for utility program incentives.
Provide and present technical advisement to client’s regarding the design, procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment.
Advise clients on processes that ensure continuous demand-reduction.
Support special projects that may include programs that involve the WELL Building Standard, assessing renewable energy, battery storage and EV infrastructure opportunities in the commercial and public building space.
Work with the Leidos team in the development of “electrification” programs and trade ally partner outreach.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 3 or more years of prior relevant experience in sustainability or utility efficiency programs and project management. Additional years of related technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
The ability and desire to be: productive, accurate, and organized.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and statistical knowledge and skills using Excel.
Ability to be self-starting—demonstrate initiative---including the ability to collaborate well in a supportive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Sustainability Programs and/or an understanding of the utility incentive process.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
