LEIDOS is seeking an UAV Analyst to support a client’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. There is no exception to the clearance requirement. This position is part of a team of Senior Subject Matter Experts providing analytic expertise in the area of launch vehicle and missile analyses, satellite technology and UAV performance.
Successful candidates will work well in team environments and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization and provide written reports to customer analysts. The UAV Analyst will also be adept at mentoring junior colleagues and will be expected to present training courses and talks to both general and technical audiences on occasion.
A bachelors degree and a minimum of 15+ years of related experience is required, or a Masters degree and 13+ years of related experience desired.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Experience in airframe and structural design, design/performance trade-off analyses, wind tunnel and flight-testing.
Experience in UAV propulsion, communications, payloads, and critical subsystems.
Knowledge of UAV manufacturing procedures and material requirements.
Pay Range:Pay Range $128,050.00 - $197,000.00 - $265,950.00
