The Defense Group at Leidos, supporting the Overlord / Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (M/OUSV) Program, is seeking a Project Analyst to support a dynamic high growth organization. The M/OUSV program is based in Port Hueneme, CA, and is responsible for delivering cutting edge autonomous vessel technology to the US Navy.  The program operates and maintains prototype autonomous vessels for test and evaluation of the vessels as well as developing operations, maintenance, logistics and training procedures for the autonomous Fleet of the future.  We are seeking resilient, innovative team-players with a reputation for excellence.   This position is 100% remote with the potential of 10% travel. We are expecting award in March 2023.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with program management staff to generate reports, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), presentations, and correspondence.

• Provide subject matter expertise in the creation of templates, and be able to describe complex and technical topics in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.

• Work closely with MUSV Subject Matter Experts, Operators, Maintainers, Engineers, Logisticians and other Tech Writers/Editors to edit technical data and training material.

• Assist Information / Knowledge management personnel with archiving and retrieving CDRLs, reports, presentations, and program documentation

 
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ of experience or Masters degree with less than 2 years’ experience. Four(4) additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

• Prior experience reviewing and editing data for DoD programs.

• Excellent written communication and grammatical skills, including mastery of standard MS Office applications.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

• US Citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with autonomous systems in either Operations or Maintenance.

• Experience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support.

• Experience working directly with technical SMEs

• Travel may be required for this position.
