Leidos Corporate HR Organization has an immediate opening for a Time & Pay Solutions Specialist to join our Payroll Team. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual who will be responsible for providing support related to timesheet and payroll customer service, audit requests, status reporting, special projects, and other duties as assigned. This role reports to the TAPS Manager.
Please note that this is a junior role with an actual pay of $48,000 - $52,000 per year ($23.08 - $25 per hour).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with timesheet questions including recording of hours which may be confidential in nature.
- Perform timecard corrections in the system of varying complexity
- Provide appropriate timesheet and payroll information to Human Resources/Legal when necessary.
- Assist employees with creating paper correcting timesheets when needed
- Recommend actions to resolve timesheet discrepancies.
- Ability to review and analyze pay data and resolve pay related questions.
- Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources
- Walk customers through problem solving process
- Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
- Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
- Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure
- Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma / GED with 2+ years’ timesheet administration or time charging experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Microsoft Office experience a must.
- Ability to work overtime when special projects occur.
- Require strong working knowledge of time charging and payroll policies and procedures to ensure adherence to Company Policy and Federal Labor Laws.
- Deadline oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proven working experience in providing help desk support
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote control
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- The ability to complete assignments independently.
- Prior experience in a government contracting environment.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Must be resourceful to find answers to questions
Pay Range:
Pay Range $36,400.00 - $56,000.00 - $75,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
