The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking an Aviation Logistics/Tool Room Attendant to work in Manassas, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in advancing Leidos growing capability.
What’s in it for you?
In this role, the Aviation Logistics/Tool Room Attendant will monitor updates to the bill of materials for aircraft modifications, track requests for procurement from end-to-end, search ILS (Inventory Locator Service) to determine vendors stock, support daily stand-up meetings, track delivery of materials, and work with Logistics to procure materials in support of aircraft maintenance and production.
**This position is a swing/night shift position.**
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Inventory control of parts, tooling and material
Issue tooling, parts and material as required
Maintain calibrated tool list
Maintain shelf life limited parts and material list
Shipping and receiving duties as required
Maintaining & updating records
Maintain core return list
Maintain minimum inventory quantities
Perform weekly, monthly and annual inventory counts
Process warranty parts and paperwork
Performs all other duties assigned by management.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Requires Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience or a High School Diploma and a minimum of six (6) years of prior relevant experience.
An understanding of the aviation industry and standard vendors
Experience with ILS (Inventory Locator System) or equivalent tool
Experience in meeting deadlines and schedules for the acquisition of materials/parts
Experience using MS Word and Excel
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) structure
Experience with aircraft parts procurement and supply chain
Knowledge of FAA Part 145 requirements
Experience with EBis
Active DOD Secret Clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
