The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Program Leadership Team to establish and refine an overall technical roadmap for program initiatives. Outlines and proposes changes to the system architecture to address stakeholder needs with respect to program initiatives ensuring best practices and open standards are enforced at the system design level.
- Leads requirement gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders to identify system changes necessary to ensure program success. Refines requirements to ensure changes: satisfy mission needs; are testable; maximize system stability; are deliverable within realistic timeframes.
- Leads technical exchange meetings to ensure both current and future system designs are well understood by key stakeholders. Defines and documents limitations of operational systems and communicates the risk of those limitations to all affected stakeholders.
- Reviews epics and features created and delivered to ensure: requirements are met in accordance with the Performance Work Statement; initiatives are being completed incrementally within the timeframes provided to stakeholders; operational system limitations are being accounted for throughout the design, implementation, deployment, and execution.
Basic Qualifications:
- STEM Bachelor’s degree plus 17+ years of experience, and/or Master’s degree plus 15+ years of experience in systems engineering in government Information Technology
- Demonstrated leadership experience in presenting and communicating technological solutions and complex delivery plans to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise and experience designing, documenting, and delivering Enterprise-class ICAM services (or other complex information technology systems / solutions)
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of IC ICAM standards as well as IC ICAM roadmap architecture and implementation guidance
- Demonstrated experience in agile continuous integration, continuous development, test-based development, and refactoring
- Have hands-on experience in defining and implementing requirements from mission and functional objectives
- Have familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud access management
- Have experience in test-based development, continuous integration, knowledge of JAVA Services and Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or higher
- Local to DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) with ability to be physically present at the team’s work location in Chantilly
- Active SCI clearance or active Top Secret (eligible for SCI) clearance*
- All candidates must go through obtaining a polygraph
- All candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Well-rounded background in networking, on-premise and cloud compute and storage, firewall, load balancing, routing, database, and web server technologies and solutions
- Familiarity with open-standards including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, Rest, XACML, FIDO2, PKI, WS-Trust
- Understanding of DevSecOps solutions for configuration management, containerization, automated deployment, and automated testing
Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
