Leidos Digital Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for entry level Desktop Support individuals to join our IT Services Team, supporting Members and their staff in the U.S. House of Representatives.
This is for you, if you have an interest in joining a dynamic and respected team of individuals who provide unmatched IT Support. THE CHALLENGE (Responsibilities/Duties):
- Assist senior staff in the consultation of customers for a variety of technical requests and problems, including but not limited to various technology needs to meet business objectives; security compliance; equipment lifecycle planning and refresh for staff in multiple locations; disaster planning, data loss prevention, and data recovery; information access planning and information sharing practices; and security planning and preparations for devices during international travel.
- Examine customer requests and collaborate with senior staff to develop a solution for technology issues or problems of low to medium complexity.
- Collaborate with customer contacts; various Government departments; suppliers, manufacturers, and other vendors; as well as colleagues; to fulfill requests and resolve technical problems.
- Gather and document needs and requirements of individual users and customer points of contact.
- Collect other information needed from colleagues and outside research, to recommend a solution.
- Use a best practice approach to provide in-depth and associate level knowledge for low to medium complexity technical areas.
- Provide regular communication to management and others, including explanation of practices and methods used.
- Obtain and apply knowledge of the customer environment (policies, standards) and technical domain standards (theories, concepts).
WHAT SETS YOU APART (Required Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and less than two years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated work experience in an Information Technology role. Experience can be paid or unpaid experience such as an internship.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to support occasional after hours/weekend projects or critical support functions.
- Experience directly interfacing with customer stakeholders.
- Ability to successfully obtain a minimum of a Public Trust Waiver prior to your start as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a LDSI U.S. House of Reps Public Trust Suitability Determination for the duration of this position.
- Ability to successfully complete a United States Capitol Police Criminal background investigation.
Target salary is 52k annually.
Please Note: Must be able to work onsite in Washington, DC, 5 days a week. This is subject to change based on Leidos, customer, and local government policy related to Pandemic Remote Work.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $72,000.00 - $97,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
