Leidos has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Special Security Representative, located in Dayton, OH directly supporting our R&D customer.  The selected candidate will provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

What you will get to do on a daily basis:

• Implement Top Secret Control for accountable material and associated correspondence.

• Prepare, process, and/or process inbound and outbound classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipts.

• Prepare, process, and/or review Program Access Request (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility.

• Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.

• Conduct Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), Joint Personnel Access System (JPAS), and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access.

• Perform data entry and record checks in the Air Force Access Data System (AFADS) and maintains all customer-sponsored personnel access information current.

• Perform indoctrinations.

• Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.

To be successful in this job you will need these:

• Bachelor’s degree & 8+ years of related experience. *(Experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

• Must have minimum of 4 years full-time experience working with SCI in all security disciplines, but specifically in personnel, physical, information and basic information assurance.

• Ability to work independently in an operational environment so the contractor must possess knowledge of a full range of security principles, concepts, practices, products and services; methods for evaluating risk and vulnerability; implementing mitigating improvement; and disseminating security procedures/processes.

• Must have a thorough knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 704, ICD 705.1 and Technical Specifications and DoD 5205.7, V1 thru V4 and working knowledge of other applicable Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and USAF directives and regulations.

• Must have the ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to assess information, plan the sequence of actions necessary, make sound decisions and solve a variety of security problems.

• Possess a TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility to support a customer’s facility and organization.
