Leidos has a current opening supporting the USAF in Europe (USAFE) through a prime contractor partner. This an exciting opportunity to use your experience and skill to support current operations and future Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) strategy, plans, and design in Europe at Ramstein AFB , Germany. This position will require candidates to be on expat status while living and working in Germany in support of this effort.

Duties Include:
The Information System Security Manager - ISSM is responsible for the certification and accreditation of computer networks and standalone information systems using government standards. This position will require the preparation, maintenance, and implementation of the System Security Plans that accurately depict the customers contractual requirements. A candidate filling this position will be responsible for:
Oversight and accountability of the day-to-day security operations of all information systems (Unclassified/Classified).
Support all disciplines with the security program and ensure business needs are met in the most applicable secure manner.
Working directly with program managers and system security engineers on all phases of system life cycle development.
Developing and implementing security measures in accordance with applicable ICDss, NIST, or other guiding information
Directing vulnerability testing of information systems to verify security features and operating controls are functional, effective, and meet government standards.
Developing and implementing facility procedures to govern marking, handling, controlling removing, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying media and equipment containing classified information.
Responsible for changes to classified system components, environment, and location, including, temporary relocation to another classified area.
Assists government ISSM in reporting and mitigating information system security incidents.
Initiates protective and/or corrective measures designed to prevent future incidents.
Necessary Background, Skills, and Education:
BS Degree in Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field or equivalent experience and 4 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Previous or current related ISSO and/or ISSM experience.
Prior experience implementing Government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other Government Regulatory compliance standards.
Prior experience working in DoD classified operating and/or lab environments.
Prior experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs.
DoD IAM Level II-III certification.
Preferred Background, Skills, and Education:
Master’s Degree is preferred.
Previous ISSM experience.
CISSP certification.
CompTIA Network+ certification.
Previous or current networking experience.
Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers.
Clearance Needed:
U.S. citizenship with a current DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
