Leidos is looking for a creative and experienced Graphic Designer to support our Communications Services Support contract for the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP). This candidate will provide overall graphic design services for OJP’s Office of Communications. This candidate must exhibit excellent visual communication, creative graphic design skills, and interpersonal skills.
This candidate will develop illustration and graphic design for a variety of communications products. Expert visual communication, narrative storytelling, and creative design skills required. Will work with OCOM communication staff to manage and implement graphic design and promotion projects and campaigns, and to explore new means of presenting visual information to communicate research findings on various topics. In collaboration with editorial staff, researches, plans, and produces visual information products for diverse internal and external audiences. Must be proficient in brand design, illustration, graphic design (e.g., for social media, websites), animation, and building dynamic and static infographics. Must be experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator and Photoshop and have a basic understanding of After Effects and Premiere. This position may provide other multimedia and graphic communication support as needed.

Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, broadcast journalism, video production, or related communication field from an accredited college or university and 5 years of related experience performing multimedia and graphic design activities. Knowledge of Section 508 requirements.
Desired experience: Work within and adherence to brand guidelines.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $91,000.00 - $122,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
