The Logistics & Mission Support (L&MS) Organization in the Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking someone to serve as a logistics/finance analyst supporting the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Army Intermodal Deployment Management Office (AIDPMO) in Shiloh, Illinois.

THE CHALLENGE:
Apply knowledge to manage funds for leased containers across the Department of Defense (DOD) using the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Joint Container Management (JCM) systems.
Apply knowledge of applicable regulations, directives and Field Manuals pertaining to the Army Intermodal Container Systems, Transportation and Traffic Management and Army Container Operations.
Aptitude to input financial information into GFEBS and JCM with speed and accuracy.
Responsible for supporting the Army Management Office on actions regarding container management and lease agreements:
Ensure that data used in support of revenue collection for transportation movements is valid and accurately reflected in the JCM and GFEBS Finance Modules.
Must demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify process and procedural errors and to recommend improvements in the management program.
Collect, review, evaluate, and interpret intermodal equipment lease invoices for payment. Assist the organization and DOD with programming, analysis, and control of funds; evaluate program funding plans and their execution, identify actual or potential problem areas and clarify issues surrounding the management of aged Accounts Receivable (A/R).
Provide support, advice, assistance and analysis on reprogramming of funds due to changes in workload and/or mission and provide assistance on processing procedures.
Review administrative files for completeness, analyzed financial statements, ensure leases, and authorized negotiators are current.
Monitor AIDPMO’s leasing financial and business conditions to detect indicators having an adverse impact on performance, mission requirements and recommended appropriate remedial action.
Review all modifications, financial statements, lease agreements, and other support documentation.
Recommend procedures for preparing, documenting, validating, and presenting resource requirements to higher authority while gaining cooperation and acceptance of others in meeting obligations.
Receive and maintain cognizance of approved funds associated with the management and leasing of intermodal equipment.
Responsible for day-to-day management and administration of the organization's AIDPMO budget associated with the lease management of intermodal equipment with direct oversight of supervisor.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to enable superiors to make sound and timely decisions.
Research information and develop new approaches to program evaluation which serve as precedents for others.
Expected to complete various knowledge base courses such as GBEBS training, AMMO-43 and be familiar with MIL-STD 3037 "Inspection Criteria for International organization for standardization (ISO) containers and department of defense standard family of ISO shelters."
Must be able to take direction, work with government and contractor personnel to achieve common goals and mission standards.
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
A Bachelor's degree with 0-2+ years relevant experience or Associates degree with 6 years relevant experience or high school degree with 8 years relevant experience in logistics management.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
Prior government or military experience in logistics, transportation management, personnel supervision, and operational management. Exhibit proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
