Leidos is seeking an Agile Coach that will utilize Lean Agile and Configuration Management (CM) best practices to standardize Information Technology  (IT) Project Governance across components for its set of corporate applications.  Projects are in various stages of Development, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and Cloud migration.   • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
  • Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
  • Experience using one or more Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall models, etc.)
  • Experience working as an Agile Coach on large programs making a transition to an Enterprise Agile Framework
  • Strong experience with formal Agile coaching/consulting around Agile engineering concepts and approaches

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

  • An Agile certification, (i.e., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
  • Experience working as an Agile Coach on large programs making a transition to an Enterprise Agile Framework
  • Experience creating Agile training materials (e.g., Agile Introduction, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or understanding User Stories)
  • Experience delivering Agile training sessions to various audiences (i.e., technical, non-technical, management, or executives)
  • Experience using Scrum and one or more common Agile implementations (i.e., Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Expertise in written, listening, note taking and verbal communication skills, including being able to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Experience providing high-level overviews for executives and staff level/group overviews on Lifecycle support tools

  • As an Agile Coach, acts as a coach for Scrum Masters on the team.
  • Supports core Agile Ceremonies along with the Scrum Master, including Release Planning, Release Closeout, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Daily Stand-Ups, and Sprint Retrospective.  
  • Create Agile training materials (e.g., Agile Introduction, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Understanding User Stories).
  • Deliver Agile training sessions to various audiences (i.e., technical, non-technical, management, or executives).
  • Assists team members to resolve impediments, issues, and reduce disruptions when possible.
  • Motivates team members to self-organize and helps the team reach its goals and objectives.
  • Be responsible for a practical level of consistency across Agile projects and participate in all the Agile ceremonies.

Education & Qualifications

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 12 years of professional experience; or 10 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
