Leidos currently has an opening for a Security Admin to work in our Bethesda Facility. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping Leidos make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through information technology, engineering, and science. In this mission, you will serve as the Security Admin. This position requires expertise in all disciplines of the industrial security field.
This position will be required to interface with all department levels, division and government management, personnel and maintain the skills to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance. This position will report directly to the Security Manager. This position will interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel. Expectation of a self-assured demeanor and able to make critical security decisions for dynamic programs that sponsor high value contracts. Be able to drive constructive change within the organization. Must possess the ability to effectively convey both verbal and written.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage personnel security (PERSEC) actions.
Conduct daily audits of DISS and SIMS to maintain data compliance.
Prepare Visit Authorization Requests (VAR), Common Access Cards (CAC), DBIDS, NAVSEA, HII, and Private Shipyard Badges.
Track Initial/Final Clearance Briefings, SF312s and Foreign Travel Pre/Post Travel Briefings.
Track all required Annual Refresher, NATO, Courier, OPSEC, and Derivative Classification Training/Briefings.
Manage incoming classified visit requests, escort visitors, conduct end of day checks, maintain key control, and control unclassified media.
The Security Admin will support special projects as assigned.
The Security Admin will demonstrate decision-making ability within the scope of the position.
The Security Admin will work as a team player, demonstrate flexibility, and excellent organizational skills.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of applicable industrial security experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Active and current Top Secret clearance and be able to maintain eligibility requirements.
Strong working knowledge of DISS and SIMS.
Working knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule and relevant DoD security guidance.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
Dedication to security – creating and delivering the highest value to customers.
Excellent customer service skills and strong professional demeanor and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work objectively, juggle competing workloads and demands, and adapt to changing priorities with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
Resourceful in solving problem and continuous improvement.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
