Leidos Corporate Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Manufacturing Systems Architect. Lead who serves as the oversight for program management and design oversight within the Manufacturing Center of Excellence.
Position Summary:
This position reports to the VP Manufacturing Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible to establish the vision, strategy, implementation governance and ongoing business support of enterprise applications including PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and other applications through partnership with the Corporate project team on tool acquisition, policy, process and procedure development, conversion, and migration.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Leads the identification and implementation of opportunities to harmonize systems, processes, tools, data models, integration, training, security and compliance for PLM, MES, and ERP and other applications to support standardization within the enterprise to achieve world class performance.
•Coordination of roll-out of standard PLM, MES, ERP, and other applications processes and tools to other business sites, product lines, and programs throughout the enterprise through prioritization and road map development.
•Lead site implementation engagements, develop transition plans for processes and data, and facilitate OCM (Organization Change Management) including communication and delivery.
•Coordinate and maintain enterprise-wide templates and master data including Leidos standard Windchill Product Container template, Windchill Engineering Change workflow templates, Manufacturer identified in Windchill and Costpoint for Leidos parts under AML control, Certification Codes, Inspection Codes, etc. in Solumina
•Supports evaluation of manufacturability, make-buy analysis, and new program launches across the enterprise.
•Provides manufacturing input to critical proposals and design manufacturing product architecture.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years experience in a Business, Engineering, or Scientific field of study.
•Master’s Degree (preferred)
•At least 5 years of applicable experience in a related technical field as described in the responsibilities of this role. ** Technically qualified candidates with less years working experience able to demonstrate progressive and successful execution of systems of similar environment and scope/size will also be considered **
•Direct experience successfully working in an environment with customized moderate manufacturing on commercial or defense programs is needed to meet expectation to quickly transition and assume ownership of role
•Sound engineering background and technical understanding will enable candidate to successfully provide manufacturing influence with design teams, work multi-system tools, and provide expert guidance for applicable solutions.
•Experience with manufacturing execution / business systems
•US Citizenship and Secret security clearance required

•Experience with advanced manufacturing systems including Solumina, Costpoint, and PLM Windchill
•Superior leadership and communication skills
•Proven ability to work successfully in a collaborative manner as an integrated member of the overall manufacturing systems team
•Broad manufacturing experience enabling career growth into other leadership roles
Pay Range:
Pay Range $128,050.00 - $197,000.00 - $265,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
