Leidos Civil Group, Integration Mission Operation (IMO) has an immediate opening for a Business Development (BD) Operations Senior Analyst to join the Business Development team for IMO.
The BD Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for Business Development operations, driving process improvement and data integrity across the Operation. The analyst routinely interacts with all levels of line management within the Operation as well as functional elements (e.g., Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, etc.) in support of BD projects and growth objectives. The analyst works independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team to direct and achieve day-to-day and strategic objectives with significant and high visibility impact on IMO BD operations. This position reports to the BD VP for IMO.
Primarily Responsibilities:
Oversee data analysis for Operation BD metric reporting derived from the Leidos Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Microsoft Dynamics) using Excel and visualization tools. This includes creating presentations for Monthly Operating Reviews and New Business Reviews, managing Operation exception reporting to ensure data integrity, tracking New Business Funds, and reconciling contract and BD system data.
Manage and report on annual and ad hoc projects to achieve IMO BD objectives, including but not limited to forecasting, market research, Annual Operation Plan, tradeshows, and customer engagement.
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Duties include researching best business practices within and outside the organization, collecting and analyzing process and new information technologies, and recommending and implementing business practices that focus on automation, increased productivity, and/or reduced costs.
Provide guidance to Operation BD staff and other functions regarding BD policies and procedures (e.g., Win Plan).
Create and maintain standard dashboards, views, charts, reports and account fields in CRM and in visualization tools like Power BI.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant government contracting experience. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (WinIt) or other CRM tools such as Salesforce
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of government contracting business development and financial terminology and concepts
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated understanding of Leidos Win Plan
Project management experience
Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Understanding of US Civilian Government customers and programs including Department of Energy, NASA, EPA, and/or NOAA.
Local to Washington, D.C. area.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
