Leidos has an opportunity for a VTC (Video Tele Conference) - Maintainer/Engineer at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. Position requires a current TS/SCI security clearance. The selected candidate will have experience with the implementation and operation of integrated computer based audiovisual systems with minimal oversight.  The VTC Maintainer will support 10+ JWICS VTC and associated TS/SCI VTC systems as well as provide assistance to AFNET VTC systems on an as needed basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist customers with scheduling VTCs. Manage and coordinate scheduling of VTC with enterprise bridge. Provide technical support to identify, isolate and repair malfunctioning AV VTC equipment and systems to include microphones, speakers, displays, codex, control systems, video audio matrix and amplifier subsystems, and associated cabling. Perform periodic preventive maintenance of AV VTC equipment. Coordinate and schedule, per maintenance agreement, with vendor on routine or autocycle maintenance. Coordinate warranty repair replacement items as needed. Gather and provide information for system security efforts such as system accreditation. Install patches, firmware updates, etc. to maintain system security. Manage VTC lifecycle of all hardware, software, and associated peripherals to include forecasting end of life components, security considerations, and contract renewals. Integrate feedback received from stakeholders and end users to optimize service capabilities while planning, implementing, and maintaining new AV VTC requirements, capabilities, and authorizations. Provide metrics on system performance, capabilities, usage, and other requested information. Lead efforts on the migration/upgrades of AV VTCs as projects arise.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years - experience supporting VTCs and conference room operations.

Security + Certification.

BA/BS in the Information Technology field preferred. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

Active Top Secret with access to SCI - eligibility security clearance.
