Job Description:

Leidos is seeking talented engineering students for an internship with our AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Undersea Warfare System (USW) Installation and Logistics team in Chesapeake VA. Candidate will support a wide range of engineering, installation and logistics functions, using sound engineering knowledge and approach.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Team reviewing and applying system drawings (e.g. assembly, elevation, schematic, parts list, Bill of Material (BOM)) to logistics products
• Support the engineering team reviewing system hardware upgrades and obsolescence issues
• Support the Installation Team reviewing Installation Control Drawings (ICDs) for shipboard system installs and upgrades
• Support Program Management by assisting with the development of Quality Procedures and Work Instructions

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program from an accredited university (mechanical engineering preferred)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience using SharePoint and MS Office products
• The ability to obtain, and maintain, a DoD Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating and reviewing engineering drawings

Pay Range:
