Leidos is currently looking for an experienced systems engineer to support their Air Force customer with product releasability and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage subject matter expertise and past experience to lead the development of FMS policies and procedures, to include technology security and transfer requirements, export controls, disclosure of classified and controlled unclassified information, and system-specific release requirements for sensitive technologies, for the program. This role will support the Air Force Lifecycle Management Command (AFLCMC) with the exportability and release of Counter-small UAS (C-sUAS) products to international partners. This position can be filled remotely with travel to Hanscom Air Force Base and other sites as needed.

Responsibilities Include:
The International Trade Compliance Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical guidance on product releasability. This position will be responsible for completing the analysis and navigating the international trade process to bring products to market along with the following tasks:
Collaborating with the engineering team to understand the technical and design aspects of each system.
Producing and reviewing documentation to receive approval for product exports.
Collaborating with International Trade and contracts team to ensure that all international export activities remain compliant with industry and government standards.
Review and understand Security Classification Guides as they relate to international exports and releasability.
Generating documentation to standup and document the FMS and international export process for the program.
Interacting with customer counterparts to develop an understanding of FMS and international export needs.
Basic Qualifications:
BA / BS with 4+ years of experience executing on DoD FMS acquisition programs or Masters with 2+ years experience executing on DoD FMS acquisition programs.
Expert level understanding of the international trade process.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering and technical leadership
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting USAF / AFLCMC programs.
Experience with radar and EW systems.
International experience in CENTCOM or INDOPACOM AOR’s
Clearance Required:
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
