Job Description:
Leidos has an opening for a Cybersecurity Analyst supporting PACAF/A6 at Yokota, Japan. Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) is a Major Command of the United States Air Force and is also the air component command of the United States Indo-Pacific Command. PACAF/A6 provides communications and information capabilities, specifically, to deliver communications and information strategic direction, policy and resources for PACAF units. The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for analyzing security measures to protect an organization's computer networks and system against attacks, and establishes computer and terminal security by developing standards, policies, and procedures; coordinating with facilities security; and recommending improvements.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site O&M of installed secure/non-secure DRSN telephone switch systems and secure/non-secure VoIP/UC systems in support of PACAF command and control missions.
Provide scheduled, unscheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance of DRSN Systems.
Provide DRSN database management of the systems to include subscriber add, moves, and deletes, database modification, report creation, printing, backup, restore, and purging of files.
Generate and ship DRSN switch backup(s) for all secure DRSN switches on appropriate electronic media quarterly to DISA.
Generate manual backups for DRSN immediately after any major database modifications.
Perform installation support for local DRSN requirements.
Provides Cybersecurity support services for the CCSS program and NC3 systems as they relate to the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) system.
Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
Solves technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Serves as the principle advisor ensuring appropriate operational security posture for organizational mission and business systems.
Advises on all matters involving the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorizations (A&A) and day-to-day security of mission and business systems.
Manages and documents A&A projects using Xacta IA Manager and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) A&A workflow platforms.
Advises, conducts and documents risk assessments, development of System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and security policies and procedures.
Advises and guides customers in the implementation of security controls, doctrine and policies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Active TS/SCI
Possess a valid US passport
5 or more years' of relevant experience supporting all DRSN hardware, software, system utilities, error messages, monitoring methods for equipment efficiency, and technical manuals.
5 or more years' of relevant experience supporting all VoIP and VoSIP hardware, software, system utilities, error messages, and current versions of Cisco Technical Manuals and deployment
Maintain currency of required trainings and certs
Limited OCONUS Travel will be required
Desired Skills and Experience:
DRSN Digital Small Switch (DSS-2A) training provided at the DRSN Training Facility, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ (must provide certificate of completion)
VoIP/VoSIP training via the one week Cisco Internet Protocol (IP) Telephony (Part-1) Course (must provide certificate of completion)
IAT-Level II Certification
BS in a related field
Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,050.00 - $97,000.00 - $130,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
