The Defense Group in Leidos currently has an opening for a Task Order Program Manager at Ft. Meade, MD to support our DES (Defense Enclave Services) program.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Leidos is seeking a Task Order Program Manager (PM) to support capacity on a large, high-profile DOD contract. Defense Enclave Services (DES) will serve as the Department of Defense’s main vehicle to unify IT networks to support agencies and field activities that take place outside military services. This Program Manager provides leadership, direction, and hands-on management and is accountable for all aspects of contract execution, is the official point of contact for the program, and ensures all personnel associated with the program are effectively supporting customer needs. The PM will interact regularly with the government customer to understand where Leidos can bring innovations and efficiencies to support the government mission. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting a complex IT efforts and the knowledge/experience with core technical areas of the program.
We are looking for a team-oriented leader focused on delivering and supporting the goals of DES. The PM will provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct and manage a complex subcontract. The PM will interface with senior DoD leaders and directors to help maintain and sustain critical infrastructure.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide project leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to DES related task(s) including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing the project performance.
•Meet all technical, financial, and contractual and performance requirements to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives
•Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
•The position is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the project performance, to include both technical issues and businesses processes.
•Report all significant technical challenges, problems, issues, as soon as they are discovered to Leidos and customer management, as appropriate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience.
•Program Management experience on large scare operations and maintenance contracts with a total contract value of at least $200M.
•Demonstrated experience managing a complex project, Task Order, or program of similar size (managing 100+ personnel, including Program Management, customer engagement, site surveys, developing integrated master schedules Integrated Sustainment Planning, Integrated Sustainment Engineering.)
•Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a program in a high tempo, high demand environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Lead and manage diverse workforce.
•Excellent track record of organizational leadership and business management, including strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
•At least 3 or more years’ experience managing projects with multiple performance locations both CONUS and OCONUS including support to combat operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Current PMI- PMP.
•Experience coordinating and managing the contractor’s proposed methodologies and approach for a project similar in size, scope, and complexity to DES projects of this contract. This includes, but is not limited to, managing multiple places of performance worldwide and a dispersed workforce, and frequent procurement of materials and equipment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
