Leidos is hiring a Linux/Windows Administrator to work at our customer site at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD
This is an opportunity to use your expertise across projects and teams to provide specialized Cyber Security and Information Technology (IT) support for IT resources and users, underpinning Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) analysis and production across the Farragut Technical Analysis Center at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
Responsibilities:
· Recommend and develop system administration solutions and provide system administration support for Windows and Linux (RHEL) Mission Applications
· Work independently or with others to verify and ensure all system assets are being monitored and follow the latest governance and best practices and ensure appropriate system logs are being captured and reviewed, and key applications and hardware are monitored.
· Coordinate across IT domains and multiple teams (internal and external) and influence customer leadership regarding solution design, process and/or approaches to ensuring all Linux/Windows systems are up to date, and working efficiently to meet requirements.
· Perform related disaster recovery tasks to ensure there is no loss of critical data
· Provide written recommendations to update mission applications prompted by events such as OS/software updates, or requests from users for additional functionality.
· Perform tasks related to Lifecycle Replacement of Hardware
'Minimum Qualifications
*Active TS/SCI clearance
*BS/BA with 7+ years of related work experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
*CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
*5+ years of experience with Windows and LINUX Administration
*Proficient with MS Windows Server 2012/2016
*Experience with MS Clustering Services – SQL and File Clustering
Proficiency with hardware and software components of Linux and Windows operating systems, in a large operating environment
*Familiarity with VMWare setup, configuration, operation, troubleshooting
*Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CASP certification
Proficient in topology of Storage Area Networks, large data center experience desirable.
Knowledge of CISCO routers and switches desirable.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
