Distribution Planning and Analysis Engineer
Pune

You’ll be based at our offices in Pune and will support US-based major engineering projects.
As the Planning and Analysis Engineer, you’ll join a newly created team based our offices in Pune, supporting major US-based engineering projects.
In this role you will be involved in;
The execution of studies in distribution planning, distributed energy resource (DER) interconnection impact, arc flash and coordination
Performing studies that are conducted for investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, and electric system cooperatives
Solid distribution analysis and distribution design experience
Python scripting, and arc flash assessments
Using engineering analysis software such as WindMil, Cyme, Synergi, ETAP or SKM

About You
Ideally degree qualified in electrical engineering
Experience of working with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing Planning and Analysis Engineering. You may have previously worked on projects in other countries such as the US
Experience with engineering analysis software such as WindMil, Cyme, Synergi, ETAP, SKM, or similar is a plus
Experience with microgrid analysis and design tools such as DER-CAM, HOMER, DIG-SILENT, MATLAB and PSCAD is a plus
Experience functioning in a technical role in distribution studies and QAQC of client deliverables
Experience with distribution design is required (overhead and underground system projects such as reconductoring, voltage conversion, distribution automation, asset replacement and new business)
