We are looking to hire a talented Senior Oracle DBA with some Postgres DBA background. Should have experience with the routine DBA tasks like Partition Maintenance, Deployments, and Performance issues troubleshooting. Will be required to work with the Project Team to migrate a very large Oracle Database to Postgres Database in AWS Cloud. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work productively as a team member with minimal guidance.
10+ years of Strong overall Oracle DBA experience
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Packages and Functions development
Experience working with Oracle and Postgres Aurora Databases, developing database objects
(Functions, Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indices) using PL/SQL, PgSQL languages
Experience in migrating very large multi-terabyte databases to AWS Cloud
Experience with AWS DMS and SCT Tools
Experience with troubleshooting Database issues like Performance issues and Resource issues
Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
Experience on AWS, CI/CD, SecDevOps
BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues
Appetite to learn new technologies and improve technical skills
Experience in migrating Oracle Databases to AWS Aurora Postgres RDS Databases
Pay Range:Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
