Leidos is seeking a talented UI Developer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience to join our small but dynamic team in Sterling, VA. Duties include software requirements analysis, user interface design, user experience analysis, developing and documenting UI designs based on standards and best practices.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters.
Utilize project tracking and version control tools such as Jira, Subversion, CVS, to manage work and collaborate with your team.
Support creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
Plan and estimate development tasks in sprint planning.
Develop maintainable code that matches requirements and specification.
Build software solutions where the solution is not always well defined but always considers the customer first.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross-functional team environment.
BS degree and 5-10 years’ experience
Work experience with maven
Work experience with SQL and Oracle
Work experience with servlet and JSP
Knowledge of Java, and REST
Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team.
Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Pay Range:Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00
