Leidos Civil Transportation Solutions Operation at Leidos has an opening for an energetic and detail-oriented Systems Engineering Technical Trainer who will support the Federal Aviation Administration Enterprise-Information Display System (E-IDS), which provides access to supplemental information from numerous sources to augment the information available on the Air Traffic Management (ATM) service provider’s primary display.
Systems Engineering Technical Trainer responsibilites:
• Perform E-IDS training development and implementation, following established processes, in support of the following activities:
o Translate technical and complex system information and requirements into E-IDS training design elements.
o Develop the E-IDS Air Traffic, Technical Operations, Security Data Administration, and Second Level Engineering Course training CDRLs:
o Support Leidos Training and FAA Training reviews of development materials and CDRL activities.
o Generate Course Material to deliver and support Design and Development documents.
o Deliver course materials and provide instruction and support in lecture, lab setup, lab conduct, course revision, and course development for the following E-IDS Courses validation activities.
o Skills in Microsoft 365 Suite, Microsoft Visio, or graphic editor, Articulate Storyline3 or equivalent animated WBT
o Demonstrated ability to review and provide editorial comments for content developed by other team members.
• Requires BS and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to translate technical and complex design information into user-friendly E-IDS training material (Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Web Based Training (WBT).
• Experience in one of the four FAA subject areas
a. Air Traffic
b. Technical Operations Support
c. Security and Data Administration
d. Second level Debug and Engineering Support.
Pay Range:Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00
