The Leidos Health group has an opening for a Research Technology Training Manager to support an NIH customer conducting one of the largest longitudinal studies to date. This is an exciting opportunity to use your training experience helping the NIH mission.
Contingent upon contract award.
Primary Responsibilities
Create and provide staff/participant training on a platform used for conducting research for NIH. Primary responsibilities include:
Overseeing development of training materials and resources that cover all aspects of the technology used for data collection and management.
Conducting training sessions for research staff, including investigators, study coordinators, and other relevant personnel, to teach them how to use the technology effectively.
Assessing the training needs of the research team and developing customized training plans based on their skill levels and prior experience with similar technologies.
Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to research staff to address any issues or challenges they encounter during the study.
Collaborating with the study team to develop and implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Monitoring the effectiveness of the training program and making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
Ensuring that all training activities are documented, tracked, and reported as required by institutional policies and regulations.
Staying up to date with advances in technology and software tools used in clinical research and sharing knowledge and best practices with the research team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as information technology, health sciences, or education, and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in designing and delivering training programs in a clinical research or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of clinical research methods, including study design, data collection, and management.
Proficiency in using software applications commonly used in clinical research, such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and statistical analysis tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including research staff, clinicians, and study participants.
Experience in developing training materials, such as user manuals, online tutorials, and instructional videos.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for clinical research, such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and experience in ensuring compliance with these requirements.
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, including HIPAA, and experience in ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of research data
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting NIH-funded research.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
