The Leidos Health group has an opening for a Compliance Officer/Platform Integrity Auditor to support an NIH customer conducting one of the largest longitudinal studies to date. This is an exciting opportunity to use your training experience helping the NIH mission.
Contingent upon contract award.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with approved program protocols related to data schema, data exchange, web interface, and analytics. Responsibilities include:
Work with the development team to ensure that the platform is secure and meets industry standards for data protection.
Ensure that data schema, data exchange, web interface, and analytics meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Work closely with program managers and other stakeholders to ensure that program protocols are being followed. Conduct regular audits of processes and procedures to identify areas of risk or vulnerability.
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any non-compliance issues.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide training and support to staff to ensure that they understand and comply with protocols.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance monitoring and auditing activities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as information technology, business, or healthcare and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
Proven experience in compliance monitoring and auditing, preferably in a healthcare or technology setting.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards for data management, including data schema, data exchange, web interface, and analytics.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR.
Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues.
Experience in providing training and support to staff to ensure compliance with data management protocols.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to compliance monitoring and auditing activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting NIH-funded research.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
