Primary Responsibilities
This senior-level position provide technical leadership and advice in support of defensive cyber operations (DCO) activities to include cloud, Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP), Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS)/Joint Information Environment (JIE), security information and event management (SIEM), tool capabilities, data analytics and operational process DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) distributed environments both in and outside the US. This position is responsible for overseeing programs, initiatives, and projects under the contract, tasked with driving implementation and adoption of new tools, capabilities, frameworks and methodologies while actively engaging with a variety of industry partners and customer stakeholders. Daily work activities shall include, but are not limited to, management and technical support of Information Management (IM), attack sensing and warning (AS&W), cyber response team, and forensics and malware analysis.
Tactical & Strategic Responsibilities entail:
Develop cyber strategy and associated documentation, identifying and offering solutions to gaps in capabilities and visibility.
Lead the Cyber operations team and coordinate daily maintenance and support activities. This includes both DODIN operational tasking, defensive and offensive cyber operations.
Ensure complete and current network and elevation diagrams for all managed security equipment at each location
Drive implementation and adoption of new tools, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies across all team in defensive and offensive cyber operations.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen and must possess a Top Secret – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in program management, business management, economics, political science, computer science, engineering, law, Government contracting, finance/accounting, or related discipline with 12 years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 10 years of prior relevant experience.
At least five years’ experience (with at least one year having occurred in the past five years) managing teams in support of cyber operations in the DoD or IC.
At least five years’ experience (with at least one year having occurred in the past two years) with current threats and attack vectors.
5+ years of intrusion detection and/or incident handling experience.
At least five years’ experience (with at least one year having occurred in the past three years) with current cyberspace operations tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
DoD 8570 IAT III and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications required prior to starting.
Advanced knowledge of solution development techniques and best practices related to demonstration, pilot, and test management and operations.
Demonstrate advanced experience in configuring cybersecurity tools to feed events, alerts, and logs to SIEM technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep technical understanding of core current cybersecurity technologies as well as emerging capabilities.
Hands-on cybersecurity experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.
Familiarity or experience in Intelligence Driven Defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and/or MITRE ATT&CK framework.
An active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification. An active CSSP Analyst certification. – move this to required. Our KPs have to meet desired quals to score a strength.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
