Description
Leidos is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager (DPM) to support a high visibility first responder / first receiver training delivery services program. The DPM will oversee operation in support of all hazards training including CBRNE incidents, mass casualty incidents, and incidents involving hazardous materials. He/She will be required to interface with customer and Leidos executives frequently. The DPM will be the alternate point of contact for all customer requirements and interactions, understanding customer needs, and leveraging Leidos innovative solutions to solve complex problems. The DPM will act on behalf of the Program Manager during any absence. Candidate must have direct project management experience in delivery of responder training.
The DPM, when required, shall be available to meet with Government personnel at the designated facility(s) within thirty minutes during normal working hours (Monday through Friday between 07:30 and 16:30, CST) and within two hours of request outside normal working hours.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree and 8-12 years of experience in program and project management.
8 years of prior relevant experience in first responder/receiver training
4 years, within the last 7, experience in the management and supervision of program operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience / Education in Emergency Management
- Experience in responder course development and delivery
- Communicates well with colleagues across multiple areas
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
