Exciting opening for a Principal Cybersecurity Specialist to support a large customer organization! Position is located in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.
You will provide Cybersecurity Program Oversight: Develop and institute an IC-wide cybersecurity performance metrics program to meet legal and policy requirements, while leveraging existing IC Enterprise generated metrics. Develop maturity models to provide targets for improvement in key cybersecurity focus areas. Produce IC cybersecurity compliance and performance reports, to include the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and ICD 502.
Demonstrated expertise in network security. The optimal candidate will have good to excellent understanding of security-related vulnerabilities and mitigations of those vulnerabilities for global wide-area networks and campus area networks.
Technical Security: Develop and maintain policy in accordance with customer guidance and direction. Analyze and provide actionable feedback on Community, Enterprise, and Cybersecurity related policy instruments. Develop and maintain a Cybersecurity Architecture development process and provide briefings to internal and external stakeholders. Conduct routine analysis of IC, USG, and industry cybersecurity best practices in order to identify gaps and improvement opportunities of IC cybersecurity requirements.
Risk Management: Support risk determination process based on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, IC Information Systems Security Risk Management. Provide technical guidance to ensure safeguarding of IC information systems.
Must have:
Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of performing any combination of tasks in any Work Role defined in NIST Special Publication 800-181 National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education. At least 10 years of that experience must have been in performing in one or more of the following categories:

Demonstrated expertise in network security.
Must possess, or obtain within six months of placement (and maintain in good standing) any IAM Level 3 certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology is desired.
Experience in securing wireless networks at an enterprise level.
Familiarity with ensuring that mobile device usage in the enterprise is secure.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough and accurate.
Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
Experience collaborating with diverse IC stakeholders to drive consensus and forward progress.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
