Leidos has an immediate need for a System Administrator II to support the AEGIS contract at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center located on Edwards AFB, CA. This position will support the Dryden Aeronautical Test Range (DATR). The System Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructures and ay processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/network devices, etc. This position will require the configuration and maintenance of Windows, Redhat and Ubuntu servers to support DATR missions. Maintenance and configuration of Cisco switches required to support various projects. Maintain various customer desktop systems and troubleshoot issues. Manually update security definitions for the DATR network at several locations assuring compliance with NASA’s security procedures. The AEGIS contract provides high quality integrated communications services for secure voice, video and data solutions and services to NASA customers worldwide.
