Description
The Program Support Specialist will contribute to the efficient operation of the US National Data Center program team by tracking and facilitating timely completion of program office action items and deliverables.
The chosen applicant will maintain awareness of all action items and deliverables and monitor progress toward completion, in addition to contributing to the deliverables where applicable.
This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated office and program support expertise, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to learn and accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that ensure program success.
Must be able to communicate effectively to internal and external program participants in writing, on the phone, and in person to assist the Program Manager and Coordinators in accomplishing critical program related decisions.
Position requires candidate to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance to work in the customer facility at Patrick Space Force Base, FL; however, several tasks can be accomplished remotely to allow for partial teleworking.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct project support to the Program Management team and coordinators.
Prepare, edit, publish, and submit project deliverables.
Track and report on project contract metrics
Coordinate meetings, travel, leave, and visitors,
Coordinate team specific activities such as onboard new hires, track contract required security and training requirements, and manage account and physical access requests.
Must provide well-written, organized documentation, consistent with acceptable standards of writing.
Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
Perform a wide range of office management and coordination tasks with limited supervision.
Managing and tracking numerous action items and deliverables to facilitate timely completion.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS and 2+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Must be U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Proficiency in MS Office specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
Understanding of process governance; solid organization skills and attention to detail.
Experience with document management, including technical editing and formatting based on appropriate style guides.
Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise written artifacts.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret clearance
Experience with MS Project and Integrated Master Schedule management and reporting.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
