The Mission Operations Division within the Airborne Solutions Operations (ASO) of the Leidos Defense Group has an opening for a Senior Geospatial Analysis to work in Alexandria, VA, at AGC and Leidos offices. The successful candidate is an accomplished professional in geospatial analysis, orthophoto production, and photogrammetry with particular technical expertise in cartography, electro-optical (EO) and lidar processing, airborne EO/lidar data collection, GIS, and geospatial software testing.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Work on complex projects with no supervision
Create and edit vector layers in ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth, and QGIS
Produce color digital orthophotos using MetaShape, Correlator3D, GDAL, OrthoVista, and BuckeyeApp
Investigate and identify new and emerging technologies
Support process improvement and automation
Manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management principles to prioritize work to meet performance, quality, and schedule objectives
Develop/implement procedures to improve team performance and efficiency
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree
Able to perform work in Alexandria, VA at Leidos and customer facilities
Must be a US citizen
Must have a DoD Top Secret security clearance
Excellent oral, written, and visual presentation communication skills

Pay Range:
Pay Range $75,400.00 - $116,000.00 - $156,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
