The Defense Group at Leidos, supporting the Overlord / Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (M/OUSV) Program, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support a dynamic high growth organization. The M/OUSV program is based in Port Hueneme, CA, and is responsible for delivering cutting edge autonomous vessel technology to the US Navy. The program operates and maintains prototype autonomous vessels for test and evaluation of the vessels as well as developing operations, maintenance, logistics and training procedures for the autonomous Fleet of the future. We are seeking resilient, innovative team-players with a reputation for excellence. This position may be on-site in Port Hueneme or virtual.
The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with program Management, Operations personnel, and corporate procurement and finance teams to procure materials for M/OUSV vessels, maintenance, and crew. The Supply Chain Specialist will interface with program Management and Operations personnel, Vendors, Logistics, and Receiving points of contact to ensure program milestones are met.

Responsibilities – Work you’ll do:
Submit Purchase Requests in the Leidos procurement system based on inputs from Program Management and Operations staff.
Receive, identify and maintain records of received materials; use record keeping functions to produce regular reports to management.
May advise and assist in establishing warehousing / storage facilities in Port Hueneme for program vessels, spares, and stores.
May advise and assist in establishing a correct inventory of material within the Warehouse Management System.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Working knowledge of computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office toolset, to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Able to communicate effectively and reliably via email, Teams, and telephone.
Familiar with supply chain processes and dependencies. Prefer familiarity with Navy Supply System.
Able to interact professionally with vendors, US Navy uniformed personnel, and management.
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
US Citizenship required to start, with the ability of obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance after hire.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:
Active Secret clearance
Experience using CostPoint.
Familiarity with Sharepoint.
Experience with HAZMAT handling / shipping / storage
Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
