Leidos is hiring a Senior Sharepoint Developer in Alexandria, VA. This position will support a customer within the Department of Justice on Software Development and Support services.
Location: Work is to be performed at a government location in Alexandria, Virginia. The customer may authorize some telework (approximately 50%) for this position, but the individual selected for this position must be able to come into the office as required.
The individual selected for this position will be a Senior SharePoint developer supporting Application Development for custom applications utilized by the customer. The customer uses Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for managing development efforts, and Service Now as a back end service desk and ITSM application. Mission applications are currently hosted in the Azure government cloud. The customer uses the SCRUM Agile development methodology; the individual selected for this position will have the needed technical skills and knowledge to complete development tasks. Candidates should have real world experience with SharePoint development and have initiative to pursue outcomes and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
The individual selected for this position will be a senior member on a team of SharePoint developers responsible for working approximately six small change requests per week and supporting two project efforts. In this role, the SharePoint developer will design, code, test, and deploy software deliverables for SharePoint and Dynamics applications. Today, this work is being done with in a SharePoint 2016 environment in the Azure Government Community Cloud; in the future, the environment will be upgraded to either the most current SharePoint version or a SaaS platform with Azure GCC.
While performing SharePoint development tasks, the developer must ensure that developed applications are compliant with Section 508.
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. This process is currently taking 10+ weeks.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years experience. High school diploma with additional years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Salary Range for this position: $125K to $135K
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
