The Defense Group of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator within the C4ISR Solutions Operation. This position will work with program and Leidos leadership to manage travel arrangements and approvals for a large Task Order with diverse and dynamic requirements.
This position allows partial telework but applicants must reside within commuting distance to Reston - VA.
The successful applicant will:
- Support the PMO by maintaining and monitoring project plans and schedules using MS Project, as well as work hours, budgets, and expenditures using Leidos' cost management tools.
- Support the PMO in development and submission of TARs (Travel Authorization Requests) and RIPs (Requests to Initiate Purchase) for approval.
- Organize stakeholder meetings, capture action items and meeting minutes, document any technical action items, and communicate with stakeholders, as needed.
- Document and monitor important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Incorporate dependencies, risks, and opportunities into schedules.
- Ensure risks are captured and tracked appropriately in the risk register.
- Help monitor TO and project-level progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Provide support for the development, review, revision, and dissemination of all Sentinel PM artifacts, such as monthly status reports (MSRs), TO Management Portal updates (e.g., schedules, risks, project status, staffing, approvals), presentations/briefings, program communications, and other program-related reports and documentation.
- Review materials for clarity, consistency, and ease of understanding.
- Collaborate with PMO staff to ensure document accuracy and reconcile conflicting information if applicable.
Applicants must possess these basic qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of relevant work experience, experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations and DoD travel policies and guidelines.
- Well-honed written and oral communications skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills with proven ability to undertake challenging situations with success.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to achieving mission objectives.
- Knowledge of the IC and other US Government agencies within the national security community.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations and incorporate customer service into all aspects of work.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills, strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to travel to the customer site as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient user of SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
